Lara Wellman is a fibre artist and maker who fell in love with rug hooking during the early days of the pandemic. She especially enjoys hooking trees and transforming photos of meaningful places into one-of-a-kind wool landscapes.
Her pieces often incorporate a mix of mediums—like felting, embroidery, punch needle, and even unexpected elements like paper, plastic, and lights.
